WHO IS THE EXPERIENCE FOR?
All women age 40 and above are invited. I have photographed stunning images of women of different shapes and sizes; women with different tastes, from different backgrounds and with different views of life. The 40-Over-40 Portrait Experience is an exciting, pampering, indulgent adventure, custom tailored and focused on YOU!
Think about how you want to be captured...what does your legacy look like? My passion is to take the every-day woman and give her an unforgettable celebrity-style, magazine photoshoot experience.
It's about so much more than just "taking pretty pictures".
Our hope is for you to truly reconnect with yourself - to see your beauty & spirit the way others already see you.
What does the 40-Over-40 Portrait Experience Include?
As one of my ‘40-Over-40’ women, you will receive:
• CONSULTATION: To discuss how YOU want to be photographed - Beauty? Boudoir? A mix of both? - and to plan the wardrobe & styling.
•PROFESSIONAL HAIR & MAKEUP: If desired, A pampering session with makeup artistry and hairstyling so that you look your best.
• FULL ACCESS TO OUR STYLE CLOSET: Enjoy beautiful pieces in our studio wardrobe during your shoot. (Sizes permitting.)
• SAME DAY IMAGE REVIEW SESSION: Immediately following your session, you will see your images, select your gifted image, and if you can't choose just one, you will have the option to order your favorite photographs and products.
• PORTRAIT OF YOUR CHOICE: You will receive one 11x14 fine-art, matted portrait (a $600 value) along with the web-formatted digital. Additional photographs and products are available for purchase.
• YOU'LL BE CELEBRATED IN MY UPCOMING EXHIBIT EVENT: When the portrait series is complete, you will be celebrated in an exhibition featuring a portrait of each of the fabulous subjects I've photographed. You will receive 1 complimentary ticket to this event, with the option to purchase additional tickets.
TO SHOWCASE THE PORTRAIT SERIES:
Your interview will be centered around the wisdom of your experiences, and how those experiences have redefined your definition of who you are in the world, and your definition of beauty.
Your story will be showcased and celebrated through the 40-Over-40 Portrait Experience Exhibition.

My name is Happy Sohi. I am 50 years old, and I am a portrait photographer.
As a professional photographer with 20 years of experience, this portrait series is by far the most impactful project I've had the privilege of creating with my clients.

In-Depth Design Session
Now that your session is booked, grab a coffee and let's dive deep. I want to know more about who you are so we can make sure your session really reflects your essence.
Guided Photoshoot
Put your mind at ease as during your session, Happy will guide you through poses and facial expressions in order to capture images that you will love!
Professional Retouching
Every image is professionally retouched, to a level as discussed in your design session. We want to make sure your photos perfectly reflect your beauty!
Wardrobe Styling
During our design session, we'll discuss your vision and assist you in selecting outfits from your wardrobe that will showcase well during your portrait session.
Multiple Outfit Changes
We all have different facets to our personality, and multiple outfit changes will make sure we capture all of who you are!
Product Delivery
There is nothing like holding your beautiful images in your hands! Each image you choose comes with the corresponding digital image.
